My 1st Christmas...not quite as planned.

December 19th I came home from daycare not feeling so well. The next day I developed a really bad cough. On Saturday, December 22, Mom & Dad took me to the pediatrician. Before I knew it, I was in an ambulance on my way to Children's Hospital- where I spent 4 days. My cold (RSV) got into my lungs (bronchiolitis). The doctors and nurses helped by giving me an Albuterol treatment, sucking the "ick" out of my nose every couple of hours and giving me oxygen. I woke up Christmas morning feeling better and starting to smile again. They let me go home Christmas afternoon. Mom, Dad & I had a quiet night at home watching Christmas movies.Mom & Dad brought my Mardi dog to keep me company (above).

Daddy bought me a Christmas outfit to go home in. The quilt in the last picture was my present from Santa at Children's. Every kid wakes up to a stocking at the hospital. Mine had a Christmas quilt and a teething ring in it. It made Christmas extra special since Santa delivered all my other presents to Wenatchee the week prior.

My Christmas Present to Mommy & Daddy

I made this calendar for Mommy & Daddy at daycare with my hands and feet and gave it to them for Christmas.

Sneak peek at my Halloween Costume

My cousins Jaxson and Quintin bought this costume for me. Thank you Jax & QP!!! It's perfect!

See my room!

Daddy and Mommy worked hard on my room. Most of the decorations are daddy's toys from when he was little. There are also some pictures and books that my Grandma Michael gave mommy. Mommy had to buy a push pin board (in last picture) for all the pictures and cards from the neighbor kids and cousins.

Mardi Gras, is my best friend. She checks on me when I cry, loves to smell me and give me lots of kisses. Mom and Dad are especially happy how good she is with me. I can't wait until I am big enough to play with her.
