First Day of "School"

Alex and I started daycare today. Mommy is going back to work next week. I was a little cranky because it was early, but I love my new backpack!

Halloween 2009

Halloween was fun! Friday we went trick-or-treating at Daddy's office. Saturday we carved pumpkins and went to a couple houses in the neighborhood. Caden wasn't crazy about his monkey costume at first, but then he realized he got candy if he wore it. Alex was hot in her puppy costume.

Alex is 5 Months - October 29th

This dress was made by my Great Grandma who made it for my Nanny (Adams) when she was a baby.

Pumpkin Patch 2009

The Pumpkin Patch this year was so much fun! After picking our pumkins we rode the Tractor Train, I rode a horsey, played in corn, caught a fish with daddy and rode the hay ride. I can't wait until next year when Alex can participate in all the fun! xoxo, Caden

August 29th - Alexandra is 3 months

Alex is 3 months! She went to the doctor on Wednesday and weighs 12lbs and is 23.5 inches long. Just this week - She started sleeping through the night - 9:00pm to 7:30am, she found her hands and she started laughing for Daddy when he tickles her. The dimple in her left cheek really shows when she laughs. It is amazing all the changes she has made in just less than 100 days.

August 11 - Caden is Two!!

For my 2nd Birthday I had a party with my cousins in Wenatchee. We made our own Choo-Choo's out of cake and candy and swam in my Auntie Roro's pool. I was exhausted on the drive home!

Zoo

Did you know my 17 year old cousin Mikaila has been living with us for the summer? She has been helping out watching me and baby Alex. It has been lots of fun!

Love my Baby Sister

It took me about a week, but Alexandra is officially "my baby". I like to feed her, give her a binkie, cover her with a blanket and sing her the "night, night" song that mommy and daddy sing to me when they put me to bed. I am a great big brother if I don't say so myself.

Mama's Belly

When sissy was in mommy's belly, Mom and Dad would ask, "where's the baby". I would lift up Mommy's shirt and kiss her belly. They made sure not to ask the question when mommy was wearing a dress. :-)

Happy Easter!!!

I had a fun Easter. On Saturday my buddy Britton came over and we attempted an egg hunt. We didn't quite get it. On Sunday my Nanny, Poppa and Great Aunties came over for brunch. The Easter Bunny brought me these cool glasses, books, flashcards, stickers and building blocks.

Getting Ready for my Baby Sister

Mom and Dad bought me a baby doll for Valentines Day. I really wanted nothing to do with her until recently. Now I like to take her out of her crib, give her hugs and kisses, feed her a bottle and when I am done I throw her on the floor. I am going to be a great big brother!

Hawaii January '09

Hawaii was an adventure! Daddy had the stomach flu the first two days in Oahu and I got a cold/ear infection. Once we saw the doctor and started feeling better, it was a blast! I loved playing with my bucket and shovel in the sand and chasing waves. Our second week we went to Kauai and Nanny and Poppa joined us for a couple days. We went on a helicopter tour of the island.

Christmas Letter 2008

Happy Holidays! We hope this finds everyone well.

What an eventful year 2008 was! I am now 17 months and I have reached many milestones. I learned to walk, talk, eat with a fork and spoon and I have my own opinion when it comes to certain foods and bed time. One of my favorite things to do is make the "cheese" face for the camera and imitate everyone around me. A couple weeks ago I took a nose dive out of my crib so I am now in a big boy bed in my special big boy room.

Mom and Dad are doing well. Dad is still at Merrill Lynch. He has been working there 12 years in June. Mom has been at AstraZeneca as a Pharmaceutical Sales Specialist for almost 2 years. Life isn't all work. They took vacations to Hawaii, Phoenix, and New York this year. At the end of this month, all three of us will go to Hawaii for 2 weeks.

Our biggest news for 2009 will be the arrival of my baby sister or brother in June. Mom and Dad decided to find out the sex this time so check the blog on January 17th for the big announcement.

We hope that 2009 brings many blessings to all.
Lots of love,
Caden Michael Adams

Christmas 2008

Christmas was fun this year. I was at Children's last Christmas with RSV, so it was my first Christmas with the Adams family. My big presents were a great big stuffed Mardi dog, a rocking horse, dump truck and my all time favorite is my vacuum. I ate all day long and played Rock Band on my cousins Wii.

Snow Storm 2008

Snow sure is fun the first 5 minutes! I really like to watch Mardi Gras jump up and catch snowballs.

Halloween

I was a black lab for Halloween. My Auntie RoRo made it for her daughter Kailie when she was little. I went Trick or Treating at Dad's work and then went home to hand out candy with Mom and Dad.
